The property combines Japanese-inspired design with Roman hospitality. Its restaurant, rooftop bar, and well-regarded spa have drawn praise, while the staff’s proactive, warm approach is a consistent highlight across guest feedback. Comfort scores are notably high, and the breakfast buffet is frequently singled out for its variety and quality.

  • No pets allowed — The hotel does not permit pets, which may be a drawback for travellers wishing to bring their animals. No exceptions are mentioned.
  • Can feel pricey for some — With rates starting from £214 per night, some guests find it expensive for the experience provided. One review called it 'good clean hotel but pricy', indicating value-for-money concerns.
  • Subdued atmosphere in public areas — A few guests noted that the bar and restaurant can feel overly quiet, missing the lively buzz often expected from a city-centre five-star hotel.
  • Rating slightly below area average — With an overall guest rating of 8.3, the hotel falls below the Rome area average of 8.7, suggesting it may not meet the top-tier expectations of all visitors.

“The staff were helpful and we enjoyed our stay. The marble bathroom was lovely. There are many restaurants nearby to eat at, such as Peppone Ristorante, which is only a 5-minute walk away.”

8.3Verified guest

“The relaxation room provided as part of the spa facilities was superb and an added bonus – the hotel could perhaps promote this a bit more. At times the bar area and restaurant felt a little too quiet. Overall though the stay was wonderful, with great staff and a fantastic breakfast service. We would definitely choose Via Veneto again without hesitation if we return to Rome.”
